I have a muffin top. I quite like my muffin top. It was slowly baked with a combination of (gluten and dairy free) pizzaz, cakes, gelato and ice cream and it makes me feel a bit more ‘soft’ and ‘womanly’. It has however been growing a lot more recently.

AND….I am also LAZY. Very lazy and have realised that I am not as fit as I thought I was. I did try HIIT for only a couple of minutes a week, but that didn’t seem to work for me. I am therefore going on an insane fitness regime for 1 month to get fit. 1 month is all that is needed to build a habit and it will be at the cost of my muffin top, lol.

I have tried “insanity extreme” videos before, but I only lasted 2 weeks. This time, I am going to try for 60 days and if I get bored, my base line is to do one exercise video, not necessarily insanity extreme every day. I have a couple of different ones! I am all going to learn how to skip and do this on dry days.

I completed the insanity extreme fit test, which is a couple of exercises done for 1 minute each and the results are compared fortnightly. I have also done some basic body measurements, just out of interest 🙂

Fit test 27/5/14 :

Switch kicks – 85

Power jacks – 31

Power knees – 81

Power jumps – 33

Globe jumps – 8

Suicide jumps – 7

Pushup jacks – 13

Low plank obliques – 25

Measurements 27/5/14:

Waist –  28″ / 71cm

muffin top – 34″ / 86 cm

hips – 38″ / 97.5 cm

thigh – 21″ / 54.5 cm

arm – 10.5″ / 27 cm

Diet:

Like a good proportion of the population, I can’t just have one pizza slice, one bowl of ice cream out a tub or one cake from a pack of six. I therefore I going to ‘try’ not to buy pizza, any fried potato goods or stuffs containing cane sugar (and minimal other sugary items) for 60 days . I plan to actually eat some vegetables, but who knows how long that is going to last.

I will check-in in two weeks after the next fit test and share the results…..
