Who am I?

My name is Sarah.

I was born in the UK and I have been moving house at every opportunity since I first left home at 18. In 2001, I spent a year backpacking round Australia and after returning home, post travel blues and throwing away 13 dustbin bags of my possessions, I realised that that if I was going to pay rent in the UK, I could also pay it in any other country, it makes no difference.

I thought that if I moved to Australia it would be big enough to keep traveling round and I wouldn’t need to pay for expensive holidays abroad. And so I began the arduous task of preparing my life so that I could be considered for permanent residency and eventually citizenship. It was a long task.

Just Keep Moving on is my story of house hopping, travel, constant change, new beginnings and my tips on how you can do it painlessly. It takes its name from the sound track to my life, the theme song to the TV program, The littlest hobo The line is, “maybe tomorrow I might wanna settle down, but till tomorrow, I’ll just keep moving on’.
