Places i’ve been.

Everyone in the world has seen at least one American movie. Most people have seen at least one that is based around christmas. I wanted to see what New York was like in the lead up to Christmas in 2009, so I went for 5 days. Two years later, I was emigrating to Australia and trying to find the ‘fanciest’ and most memorable way to arrive. I realised that I couldn’t afford a cruise, especially after the single person suppliment was added, but trains across America sounded fun. I spent 2 weeks on Amtrak trains and Grey hound coaches going from the east coast to the west coast.

Places I visited included New York, Niagra falls, Chicago, Salt lake city, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
